January 17, 2004 Roxbury’s History: Colonial Times 10-2 PM

Leader: Byron Rushing, historian and state representative for the South End
Explore the history of Roxbury in colonial times through the early 1800’s. In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., this tour will also explore the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Boston. Byron Rushing is an expert on the history of Roxbury and the African American community in Boston.
