Description: | Color in Freedom: Journey Along the Underground Railroad is an exhibition of 49 paintings, etchings and drawings by Joseph Holston. He captures the courage and determination of slaves required to escape to freedom. This exhibit is sponsored by the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity. Discover Roxbury is a community partner and is co-sponsoring the event as part of its ArtROX! series. During today's reception, enjoy special theatrical performances by Huntington Playwriting Fellow Jacqui Parker. Artist Joseph Holston has also been invited to the event. His appearance will be announced once confirmed. |
