Program Manager
Description:
Discover Roxbury seeks a dynamic, organized, and motivated part-time Program Manager. The Program Manager is responsible for creating and implementing arts-based programming that meets the needs of our stakeholders and advances the mission of Discover Roxbury.
The Program Manager will take-on the leadership of current programing, including:
The Program Manager will support current programing initiatives including but not limited to:
Additionally the Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement new programming initiatives in an effort to best support the community as a whole.
The Program Manager has lead responsibility for much of the program administration, including but not limited to:

Maintaining community partner relationships

Developing artist participation
-

Coordinating the logistics of community tours

Securing venues for programming
-

Collaborating with team members on program evaluation

Assisting with establishing and updating program budgets
-

Helping prepare marketing collateral for program publicity efforts

Representing Discover Roxbury at community event and network meetings
-
Qualifications:
An ideal Program Manager candidate will:

Have 2+ years of experience working in nonprofit setting
-

Be available to work 20 hours/week, some weekend & evening work to support programming
-

Have access to a car to transport program materials as needed
-

Be detail-oriented and a self-starter
-

Superior organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Be capable of developing timelines, measuring success, and delivering goals

Demonstrate passion, energy, and work ethic

Understand Discover Roxbury’s mission and vision with a willingness to take action to complete common objectives
